Little White Church-
This is my watercolor postcard I created within Digital Illustration. For this assignment, we were to choose a place that was significantly meaningful to us. The place I chose is this little white church down the road from my house. I have always loved this church. It’s a small, white, country church that is simply beautiful. Even though I have always loved the way this church looks, that is not the reason I chose it. The reason I chose this church is because directly behind it is a graveyard. In this graveyard, my great grandmother is buried. My great-grandmother is someone who I strive to be like. She was the sweetest, most down-to-earth, and Godliest woman I have ever met. Her faith was something that was never questioned. She lived every day of her life for the Lord. And for that reason, she is someone I hold near and dear to my heart. On the day of her funeral and burial service, it was snowing. For this assignment, I wanted to depict a snowy and cloudy, winter-wonderland day.
These are close-up versions of my work.
